Does it make sense to use one of these instead of a regular card? That's a good thought!

To ensure you are fully informed and make the best decision, this article will cover everything you need to know about one of the most popular options on the market.

The C&A card is a credit card offered by the clothing store of the same name in partnership with Banco Bradesco.

In addition to a range of benefits at department stores and with partner companies, two different limits are available on a single card: one for withdrawals and another for purchases.

What are the different types of C&A credit cards and how do they work?

There are currently five types of CeA cards that customers can choose from according to their preference and desired brand:

  • International Visa;
  • Visa Gold;
  • International Link;
  • Plus Link;
  • Graphite Link.

To apply for one of them, you must prove that a minimum wage applies.

What are the advantages of the C&A credit card?

Regardless of the brand chosen by the cardholder, the card offers some benefits common to all customers. These are:

  • Cards accepted in Brazil and worldwide;
  • 10% discount on your first purchase in stores;
  • 50% discount on tickets and combos at Cinemark cinemas;
  • Direct withdrawals at stores or the Banco24Horas network (fee of R$ 12 for withdrawals in Brazil and R$ 16 abroad);
  • Separate limits for withdrawals and purchases;
  • Installment payments in up to 5 installments with no interest and differentiated installment plans in retail stores (15 installments in physical stores and 10 installments for online purchases);
  • Withdrawals with the option to pay in installments up to 24 months (with interest);
  • Bradesco Cards and Bradescard App: ability to manage expenses, bills, limits, and track payments directly from your mobile phone;
  • up to two additional cards;
  • Pay your water, electricity, and phone bills in up to 3 installments with no interest
  • 60 million free WiFi hotspots worldwide (Elo only);
  • Insurance and assistance (e.g., against theft);
  • Participation in the brand's points program (Visa or Livelo).
  • Furthermore, C&A stores offer an annual fee waiver. If the customer chooses to use the card only within the branch network, no annual fee will be charged for the billing cycle at another store, even if the amount is low; the annual fee will be charged normally.

It's worth remembering that the Elo Grafite card has other advantages related to its value, such as VIP lounges at airports, accumulating more points, among other things.

How can I increase my C&A credit card limit?

As with any other credit card, the initial limit is set after the analysis that led to the problem.

Therefore, over time and with continued use, this limit tends to increase successively through ongoing analysis by the issuing bank.

If the cardholder is not satisfied with the offered amount, they can still increase the limit directly at CeA branches or by requesting the card through the call center. In these cases, presenting updated proof of income may be helpful.

However, there is no guarantee that the increase will be granted. If you regularly make purchases with the card and pay your bills on time, you may receive the increase faster.

How do I apply for a C&A credit card?

  • To apply for the C&A card, the customer must meet the following requirements:
  • Be over 18 years old;
  • no credit restrictions according to SPC and Serasa;
  • t
  • Work for at least 3 months and provide proof of income;
  • Provide original RG (Brazilian National Identity Card) and CPF (Brazilian Taxpayer Identification Number), with the CPF being up-to-date with the Federal Revenue Service;
  • Provide proof of residence.

Although the Bradescard website provides all the information about the card, contract details and applicable fees cannot be requested online.

Is the C&A Credit Card worth it?

The C&A credit card is good and may be worthwhile depending on the customer's profile.

To draw a conclusion, it's important to consider that it doesn't offer any distinct advantage over others available on the market today.

Furthermore, it offers few exclusive benefits, mainly based on brand benefits.

The card also has a pension option – which is not billed monthly if only purchases made at the network's branches are credited to the account.

For this reason, it's especially worthwhile if you're a CeA customer and can take advantage of some months' worth of billing, discounts, and in-store installment plans.
