How can I get the Citizen Card
To get the Citizen Card you will need:
- You must have your data and addresses registered with Caixa
- You need to be registered in PIS/PASEP;
- You also need to have the NIS, which is the Social Registration Number, or the NIT, which is the Worker Registration Number;
- After organizing all these documents, just go to Caixa and request your card
- If you have work or social benefits to receive and don't have the Citizen Card yet, you just need to go to a Caixa agency.

The Citizen Card is sent directly to your home and the average delivery time is 15 days.
Can I get the Citizen Card online?
For now there is no option to request the Citizen Card online, but besides being able to request it by going to a Caixa agency, you can also make the request by phone.
