What is Emergency Aid?
Emergency Aid is a benefit adopted by the Federal Government that aims to help people who are being financially harmed during the COVID pandemic in Brazil.
Who is entitled to Emergency Aid?
Emergency Aid is a financial benefit provided by the Federal Government to informal workers, individual microentrepreneurs (MEI), self-employed workers and the unemployed, and aims emergency protection during the period of facing the crisis caused by the pandemic.
Attention! To qualify, you must have all the information below up to date!
- Be registered with Cad Único, or register via the website or app;
- Receive up to R$552.50 (half the minimum wage) per person in the family;
- Or receive up to R$3,125.00 (3 minimum wages) as total family income;
- Be over 18 years old;
- Not having a formal job;
- Not have an income greater than R$28,559.70 in 2018.
Does anyone who signs a contract lose Emergency Aid?
